Consultation services include

Assisting clinics and health care systems to develop behavioral health services in primary care with:

  • Comprehensive evaluation of programmatic activities including training needs, communication factors, systems and clinic factors, program evaluation activities, and population impact
  • Development of policy and services manual to guide program development and evaluation
  • Development of targets to maximize optimal impact of providing behavioral health services in the primary care medical home
  • Ongoing evaluation of progress, including identification of barriers and coaching on strategies to address barriers successfully

Training services include

Large and small group trainings for primary care and behavioral health providers, separately and together

Core competency training for behavioral health providers transitioning into provision of behavioral health services in primary care

Workshops on a variety of topics, including

  • Managing chronic pain in primary care
  • Contextual behavior therapy in primary care
  • Assessing and addressing primary care provider stress
  • Providing primary care behavioral health services to children
  • Providing behavioral health services to older adults
  • Providing primary care behavioral health services for women and children
  • Developing primary care behavioral health pathways
  • Applying the principles of population-based care to behavior problems in
    primary care
  • Providing group services with an evidence base in primary care
