Description
Living Life Well is a brief workbook for people who want to improve their quality of life and their ability to work with emotional difficulties. Readers learn seven strategies and apply them to develop new skills. These strategies were tested in a randomized control study with patients experiencing symptoms of depression and were found to improve patients’ rates of strategy application, as well as symptoms of depression.
Living Life Well may be used as a self-help book with or without the support of a health care professional. Treating Depression in Primary Care: A Guide for Primary Care and Behavioral Health Providers is a companion book for Living Life Well, and patients may ask their health care providers to consult this companion book in order to better support their study and application of new strategies for addressing life problems and seeking meaning.
It also provides a useful structure for an open-access primary care class.
